Just stumbled upon “Born to Build a Home”. Touching and extraordinary are the only words that come to mind. Wow. You seriously broke this old combat vet down to tears with this one.
Thanks very much for playing for us in Philly. I hope the NYC Catholic Underground went well. Everybody really enjoyed your playing ! Let’s do it again, when both of us can.
Ciao,
Pete
I’m really happy to get to know your music and you guys!! I do appreciate for your awesome music that makes me so happy!!! btw, where is the song, Love Me Falling? which album does have this song? I would like to purchase!!!
Saw you in Marshfield, WI. Ordered the newest album. Arrived Friday. I haven’t stopped playing it. The most moving album I’ve listened to in a very long time. The kind that made today better than yesterday. Smokey Applachia with an edge and soul. It will take it’s place along side Van, Dylan and The Band. As a long time player (strat) and music lover, it’s great to fall in love again with a new album. Tom, your cord work/tone/sound is one of a kind. Jon, spot-on tone on the upright. The use of the vibrato on the Fender and upright is as sweet as Tupelo Honey. Nez, a beat that’s always right and a sound filled with texture. Strings, I close my eyes and I’m in the Emerald Isles. Mike, an additive voice and stage presence to match the subtle power of the band’s music. What an album. What talent.
Looking forward to seeing you at SEMO on April 13th.
