Greetings: This is to invite Mike Mangione with Sista Strings to appear on an episode of Wisconsin Public Television’s 30 Minute Music Hour. We ask the artists to make an episode with us on our Madison sound stage on Wednesday, January 31. We are unable to pay artists to appear on our program but that hasn’t stopped many talented acts from appearing, musicians who value the quality and importance of public broadcasting. Past shows include performances by national and state artists including Carolina Chocolate Drops, Pieta Brown, Haley Bonar, WebsterX, Peter Mulvey, Loudon Wainwright III, Dead Horses, Robbie Fulks, and Horse Shoes and Hand Grenades. Our episodes are captured in real time in a four camera setting and livestreamed on Facebook. Each episode is then assigned a primetime, statewide, fully-promoted PBS broadcast seen by approximately 200,000 households. I’d be delighted to share Michael’s music with our audiences. I hope it can work out. Please advise, and thanks! (Mike's e-mail address keeps kicking back to me "undeliverable!) Andy Moore Producer, 30 Minute Music Hour Wisconsin Public Television 608 354-2277
