hey i went to the oyster ridge festival this year and i wanted to say you guys are great….even though i didn’t get to hear you guys…..I did get to meet john and patrick… so im gonna sound like a stalker right now, my apologies, but patrick i know i promised i would stay to listen but my dad made me leave early so i am truly sorry and cant wait to hear you next year! love you guys!
Saw you at Trinity House Saturday night. Thank you for an outstanding show. Loved the new and old songs. I’m already looking forward to seeing
you again.
Mike, My wife heard you telling me about Levon’s book (when you were in Marshfield 2 weeks ago) She knows I’m a big fan of The Band. She ordered the book for me. I couldn’t put it down. It filled in so many of the details that were unknown to me. An emotional read. Richard M was one of my musical heros and to know more about his relationship with Van M (my supreme musical hero) was good for my soul. I’ve talked to and/or sent your latest CD to friends whom I respect as musicans. Nothing but positive feed back. Great writing, a unique Americana sound/style. Jon/Tom, you’re just a pleasure to listen to…tastey sweet notes & tones. Naz, more than a drummer…a musican who brings texture and tone to the beat…and strings, the opening to TFO Evermore…one of the most visual sounds I’ve ever heard…as the sun rises and the mist falls from the Emerald Island…I see it as clear as my own yard. Thank you for taking time to talk shop/music with me when your in Marshfield. We’re checking your schedule, and will see you again within the next 3-4 weeks. PS You have got to get Van M’s new CD…Born to Sing, No Plan B. He’s still got the pipes, and Jon, some of the bass lines/groves will require a good slapping to get the smile off of your face. Ralph
